We live in a world that is detaching itself, thus uncovering vast unexplored areas in which man discovers the endless spaces of his creative liberty. Such is the purpose of the masks being now presented to us by sculptress Marta Díez, who is exploring with extreme rigour and constant lucidity not only what is conscious and bright in the empty eyes of her masks, but also extending to a world that shows us the speed of a past time that we may term as a continuity of the future. This is the only question from the masks – one that we cannot answer with certainty because we ourselves are masks, since they make the deepest, unknown part of our self.
